Casa Rosa & Rose Garden Apartment Complexes

The Housing Authority owns two apartment complexes in the North Las Vegas area.  The Casa Rosa complex has 1, 2, 3 & 4 bedroom units which are available for low-income families.  The Rose Garden senior complex has 1 bedroom and efficiency units which are specifically designed for senior citizens as defined in Section 223 of the Social Security Act.  The Housing Authority charges monthly rent based on 30% percent of your monthly income adjusted for the size of your family.

When your family nears the top of the waiting list you will be contacted for an application interview.  At that time you will be given a more detailed application to fill out.  This application will ask for current family information and you will be required to provide documents that support this information.  A detailed list of things you need to bring to this interview will be provided beforehand.  Inability to verify information may affect your waiting list status or ranking and delay or cancel your application for housing assistance.

Ranking and Preference:  Generally, you will be ranked on the waiting list according to the date and time that you applied for housing assistance.  (Exceptions are made for persons claiming Veteran Preference.)  One ranking point is given to families with the Veteran Preference.  Definition of Preference

  • Veterans Preference
