Emergency and Other Housing Assistance
The Housing Authority does not provide emergency housing assistance.  If you are now homeless and need shelter, the following organizations may be able to provide immediate help or refer you to an agency that can:

Women's Development Center                                      
Affordable Rental Program: offers assistance to income eligible families by providing safe, decent, sanitary rental housing. 
Transitional Housing Program: is designed to assist homeless single senior women with housing, case management, daily living skills counseling, educational opportunities, and support services. 
SAFAH Link Program: assists homeless families and single women with financial assistance to move into permanent housing.  Each applicant must be a successful graduate of a transitional housing program or an emergency shelter.  They must also be employed for 30 days or have a stable income.

Project Home helps prevent homelessness by providing rental assistance; transitional housing and other resources needed to help clients achieve self-sufficiency.  The Affordable Housing offers rentals 30% below market for households who are at the 60% or below AMI (area median income) for Clark County.  Their market includes families with children, seniors and the mentally challenged
